Equilibrium in rabbit-chemistry

Because rabbits like making babies, right?

This is p much what i do when i'm bored with the chapter i've been studying. I joke about it with my sister or someone. So Chemical equilibrium with rabbits

Assumptions required:
 I know rabbits have a large litter but for now they normally have only 1 per litter, ok?
( SKIP IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CRY AT NIGHT )
Rabbits babies can't breed. :'(
And the rabbits have to die after having babies. Sad i know but that's chemistry. It's no fun.
Some rabbits grow up. Some don't. They don't die. They just don't grow up.

Rate law:
The rate law states that
For the forward reaction  in aA + bB -> cC + dD
Rf α [A]a'[B]b'

Rate proportional to reactants raised to a power (a' and b' ) ( which may or may not be equal to the stoichiometric coefficients (a and b ).

Or
Rf = k [A]a'[B]b'
Same thing with the rate constant

Rabbit time:
Put a male rabbit and a female rabbit in a meadow. You'll have babies but not very fast.
Put a bunch of male and female rabbits in a meadow. Now we're talking.

( I should probably say that we're not at the  'equilibrium' part yet. Also, the rate doesn't have anything to do with the actual speed at which a reaction happens. You're not reducing the gestation time of the rabbits, Just the number of rabbits having babies. ).

Now for that k. Faster reactions have larger Ks. What would it mean when it comes to rabbits?
You guessed it- Horny rabbits.

Now what about the powers? Till now the rate has been directly proportional to the concentration of reactants (No of rabbits). But some rabbits have a greater influence on the population-
Rabbits which make twins! For each rabbit, You get many more rabbit babies :D

Equilibrium:
The above reaction can also take place in revers
cC + dD -> aA + bB
Here, the rate of the backward reaction is:
Rb = kb [C]c'[D]d'
Very similar to the above when you think of it chemically.
( But try to apply that logic to rabbits and you have baby rabbits giving birth to adult parents and dying in the process... uncool but more accurate to concepts.)

What happens in the state of chemical equilibrium is that the rate of backward reaction equals the rate of forward reaction.
( Tug of war, they pull as much as you pull. The marker doesn't move. It doesn't mean neither of you are pulling, It means both of you are pulling with the same strength. Here, it doesn't mean no reaction happens. Both forward and back are happening together. They just happen at the same rate so you don't notice any change)

So the baby rabbits start growing up into adults instead. The more baby rabbits there are, the more adults appear.
So at some point of time, The number of rabbit parents dying ( after making babies... poor rabbits ) equals the number growing up.  ( and making more babies and dying and you get the picture )
So at this point, The population stays constant.
You have a certain amount of  adults. When they make babies, They die but there are baby rabbits growing up at the same rate that they die.
So we can say that the system is in EQUILIBRIUM!
And this constant state will go on till the ice age ( change of conditions ) happens,  a big bad wolf eats baby rabbits ( removal of products  ) or foreign rabbits move in to make more babies ( addition of  reactants ).

And that, my friends, is equilibrium in rabbit chemistry.

Disclaimer: Not all the concepts are accurate.But i think they're rather funny. You should probably read your books but if they're no fun, You know where to come :)
Plus if you're clueless, Anything is helpful.
I'm digging myself into a pit here, Rabbits are a pretty bad example :(

If I were to compare rabbit reproduction to a physical phenomenon, It would have to be a nuclear chain reaction. :O
